Coconut roti is one of the traditional dish in Sri Lanka that can have for breakfast or lunch. Normally, coconut roti serve with the lunumiris or katta sambol. But it can have with any suitable curry or spread as well. Coconut roti mentions as Pol roti in Sri Lanka. Even there are several indian roti types, Sri Lankan Pol roti different from the indian roti.

Coconut flesh is highly nutritious and rich in fibre,vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and mineralsincluding iron, selenium, sodium, calcium,magnesium and phosphorous.
Ingredients for pol roti : Wheat flour / All purpose flour ,salt , water, Oil, Onions, Green Chilies , curry leaves
